MODEL STRATEGI PENGUATAN CREDIT UNION DI KALIMANTAN BARAT DALAM MENGHADAPI TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL DAN KETIDAKPASTIAN EKONOMI

This study aims to analyze a strategic model for strengthening Credit Unions in West Kalimantan in responding to digital transformation and economic uncertainty. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature review method. The study utilized secondary data obtained from nationally accredited SINTA journals, internationally indexed Scopus journals, academic books, reports published by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), the Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Ministry of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia, and other relevant supporting documents. Data were analyzed using content analysis, comparative analysis, literature synthesis, and conceptual model development without hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that strengthening Credit Unions in the digital era and under conditions of economic uncertainty is influenced by six key factors: digital leadership, organizational governance, human resources, service innovation, risk management, and institutional collaboration. These factors collectively develop dynamic capabilities that enhance organizational resilience, enabling Credit Unions to adapt more effectively to environmental changes, technological advancements, and economic fluctuations. The proposed conceptual model is expected to serve as a strategic reference for Credit Union managers in formulating sustainable organizational development strategies, improving competitiveness, and strengthening the contribution of Credit Unions to regional economic development in West Kalimantan.
